The following questions are asked of a client for a corporate identity project.

First, Promote is aware that every company-person’s corporate identity has 4 areas which define it:

1. Reality
2. Identity
3. Image
4. Visual Communication System

Promote Studios, as a graphic designer, creates a visual communication system based on the true identity and image of the client’s company. This image contains a logotype and applications such as printed media, and online and offline digital material.

Therefore, the majority of the requested questions should be answered, in order to have the most accurate idea of the visual identity to be developed.

The given information is totally confidential and Promote will handle it carefully. It will be used only to create your visual communication system project.


1. Reality - What is the company?

    1.1. Name

    What is the company name and what does it stand for?

    1.2. History

1.2.1. Give a quick description of the company’s history and its performance in the marketplace, from it’s beginning to the present day.

1.2.2. If applicable, name the most remarkable goals achieved by the company.

    1.3. Material Resources (location, infrastructure - equipment, passive and active incomes)

1.3.1. Where is the company’s headquarters.

1.3.2. Are there secondary locations? Where are they?

1.3.3. What kind of equipment and technology does the company own?

1.3.4. Does the company own an exclusive or patented process which can be shown as an added value to their client/customers?

1.3.5. Does the company have any certification(s) of development by the standardization entity which rules the market? That feature can be also shown as a plus –added value- to their customers/clients.

   1.4. Human Resources

1.4.1. Name the owners, shareholders, investors of the company, and describe their background. Maximum 5 people.

1.4.2. How many permanent employees does the company have?

1.4.3. Mention the departments of the company and describe their tasks.

1.4.4. Does the company hire outsource workers? How often? Why?

   1.5. Documents and legal status in the local Chamber of Commerce and other local or international associations.

1.5.1. Is the company registered with any commercial/financial/legal/ entrepreneurial/ association? Which ones?

1.5.2. How is its relationship with those organizations?

   1.6. Financial Status

1.6.1. Show the financial growth of the company since its beginning, year by year, or monthly in the case of new companies.

   1.7. Target Group- Who are the customers and clients of your company?
